Afterschools childminder

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and experienced childminder for our son, starting September 2026. Care will be required after school, from collection at 2.00pm from his school in Trim until approximately 5.30–6.00pm each evening. Care can take place either in our child’s own home or in the childminder’s home. Ideally, we are seeking care five days per week, however 3 or 4 days per week can be accommodated for the right person. The successful candidate will have experience in childminding, childcare, nannying, or babysitting and must genuinely enjoy working with children. You should be reliable, trustworthy, punctual. We are a non‑smoking household and would prefer a non‑smoker. Key Responsibilities Collecting our son from school in Trim Providing a safe, caring, and engaging after‑school environment Supervising homework and after‑school activities as appropriate Preparing light snacks/meals Requirements Previous experience caring for school‑aged children Garda Vetting First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Driver’s licence preferred If you are a warm, dependable childminder looking for a long‑term after‑school role, we would love to hear from you.
