After/before school childminder or nanny needed for 6 year old boy.

We’re based in Balbriggan and are looking for childcare for our 6-year-old son during term time and ideally during at least some school holidays as well. He gets a school bus, which collects him at 8.55am and drops him back after school for around 2.15pm. We sometimes need care from around 8.30am in the morning, although quite often we can manage the mornings ourselves, and then after school until 6pm. In practice we frequently collect him earlier, but we dont mind paying to have this flexibility. We’re happy for him to be minded either in our home or in the childminder’s home. The only important logistical point is that his school bus pick-up and drop-off address needs to remain consistent. He is autistic with relatively low support needs. He’s a happy, funny, communicative little boy and is generally very easy-going. He has a speech impediment, but communicates well and is very capable of advocating for himself. We don’t need specialist care, but we would ideally like someone who has some understanding or experience of autistic children. He loves being outdoors, tractors, rockets and pretty much anything that moves, as well as books and being read to. He also has a fantastic sense of humour and is genuinely great company!
