12:30pm to 5pm afterschool Carer in Limerick - Transport Required

Au Pair / Afterschool Childcare – 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic au pair or childcare provider to help with afterschool care for our 4-year-old daughter. Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm (Pick up is 1:10pm but we will cover time to travel to the school) Transport: Own transport is essential. About the Role We are looking for someone warm, patient and responsible who enjoys working with young children and can provide a safe, fun and supportive environment for our daughter after school. The role will involve: * Collecting her from school and providing afterschool care. * Helping her with homework and school activities. * Supporting her learning through play, reading and engaging activities. * Helping maintain a consistent afternoon routine. * Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and confidence. * Preparing a light snack, some dinner and ensuring she is happy and settled throughout the afternoon. About: My Daughter is 4 years and 10 months old. She is a bright, curious and energetic little girl who loves learning, exploring and asking lots of questions! We would love someone who can keep her engaged, encourage her curiosity and make learning fun while providing gentle guidance and structure. What We’re Looking For * Someone kind, patient, trustworthy and dependable. * Experience caring for young children, particularly preschool or primary school-aged children. * A genuine interest in children’s learning and development. * Someone comfortable helping with homework and encouraging good learning habits. * Irish language skills would be a great advantage, particularly when helping with homework, but they are absolutely not essential. * A full driving licence and reliable own transport are essential for school collection.
