Nanny

Job Overview: Family based in Naas, Co Kildare, are looking for a Nanny to care for their three children aged 8yrs old, 7yrs old (non-verbal) and 2 years old. The working hours/days will be 4 days mid-week split over Monday – Friday and one weekend day Monday 12.30 – 7.30pm Tuesday 12.30 – 7.30pm Wednesday OFF Thursday 12.30 – 7.30pm Friday 12.30 – 7.30pm Saturday 8am – 8pm Start date available as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities & Duties: - The Nanny will be responsible for drop off’s and pick up’s for children - It will be the Nanny’s responsibility to keep the common area e.g., kitchen / family room & the children’s bedrooms clean and tidy and organised - The Nanny will assist the children with homework and development activities - Good cooking skills are important to provide healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the children - The Nanny will be expected to arrange various interesting development & educational activities - the family are happy for a proactive Nanny who will organise weekly activities e.g. walks, playground, picnics, arts & crafts etc - Give summary of the day in child's journal - Occasional babysitting and occasional overnight may be required Skills Profile: Must have qualification(s) in Childcare Must have direct experience with Special Needs Minimum of two years’ experience Up to date First Aid and Garda Vetting Full clean drivers’ licence and own car Person Profile: Must be reliable Fluent English is essential Trustworthy with a love & understanding of children Organised and timely Patient with strong communication skills, able to listen and support A caring, interactive, fun & energetic personality Must have a genuine interest in the children & become part of their family
