Full time childminder for baby girl in Blackrock

Hello! We are a young married couple living in the centre of Blackrock village. We both work full-time and we are therefore seeking someone to care for our baby girl who was born in June 2023, on a full-time basis (Monday-Friday) preferably between 08.00a.m. and 6.00p.m. each day. In the early months, I intend to work from my home office as much as possible. We are flexible in respect of a start date. If a successful candidate was able to start work immediately, we would welcome this, but also do not have a pressing need until the end of September 2023. We have lovely people who assist us with cleaning, and we would intend to keep them on, they are now friends and have been with us for some time. However, we would hope that our childminder would be able to assist with light housekeeping duties such as preparing baby's bottles and food, putting on their laundry, and cleaning kitchen surfaces. We would hope for our baby's childminder to attend our home to care for her, While we would not be prescriptive in terms of what any childminder does with our baby each day, we would like her to attend classes and activities in the surrounding area where possible and to go for walks. There is a dedicated baby centre that has recently opened just across the road. It is very important to us that any childminder has a comfortable and happy working environment and that they enjoy coming to our home every day. We would endeavour to ensure that is the case in any way that we can and would regularly checkin with the successful candidate to make any adjustments that may be necessary. Caring for our baby would be a team effort, and we know that we would not be able to do it without the help of a childminder. We will offer: - a competitive rate of pay; - significant holiday leave which will include at a minimum, all bank holidays, three weeks paid leave in August, seven to ten days paid leave in and around Easter; and two weeks paid leave in and around Christmas, as well as other periods. Garda vetting is essential and we would welcome references. If you have a clean driving license this would be an advantage, but by no means essential, and access to your own transport is not necessary.
