I am currently pursuing my level 5 in childcare and special needs assisting.
About Me
Heya, I have years of caring for children in a nurturing and creative manner. I am a very caring and creative carer. I have experience caring for all ages from babies to pre-teens, with references. Before Covid, I volunteered in the order of Malta where I received first aid training and my CFR certificate. At the moment I am studying to achieve Level 5 in Childcare. I aspire to someday run my own childcare business.
My Experience
First Aid Experience
I am a certified Cardiac first responder, I have been a part of the Order of Malta and the Redcross throughout the years. I think it is crucial to have at least some basic first aid training when caring for anyone. I take caring for vulnerable people and children and their safety very seriously.
Special Needs Experience
Caring for children with additional needs is very hard but even more rewarding. I have worked with children with mild learning disabilities to severe ADHD, and I have developed an understanding of people that need just that much more attention. I enjoy challenges that come from helping people like myself as I am neurodivergent and have a learning disability too. I am currently in school to achieve my Special needs assistance certification and hope to help those that need more attention from their carers.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
My experience with young children is vast. I have cared for and nurtured many infants ranging from newborns to toddlers and beyond. I enjoy caring for infants especially, as it is such a magical and special time in their lives and in yours as a parent and I enjoy playing with them and helping you and them to achieve their milestones.
